Description:

Hardwood derived from the trunk of a tree is cut and crafted into this Hanbo. The exterior is stained and coated with Urethane, revealing the high quality wood grain. Striking a hard ground surface produces the awesome cracking sound, yet it feels perfectly smooth to the hand. The end of the Hanbo is rounded. Great for practice and training. Before mastering the sword, some Dojo require the mastering of the Hanbo, also known as a short staff. Some martial arts have centered particularly around this weapon, like Hanbo Jutsu. Mastering the short staff can provide a means to easily overpower a sword-wielding opponent.
